The WCTDC Mission

The Wichita Children’s Theatre & Dance Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing high-quality theatre and dance education to Wichita’s youth. For nearly 50 years, we have helped children build confidence, creativity, leadership, and lifelong skills both on and off the stage.

Our productions are free to audition for and free to participate in, ensuring every child has the opportunity to experience the performing arts, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Today, rising operating costs and critical facility needs threaten the future of this beloved community institution. Your support helps us maintain our programs, improve our facilities, and continue providing accessible arts education for generations to come.

Some events have an opportunity to have pizza before the show or they can have concession stands on bigger showings. Highly worth recommending your children.
